Starts and Supplies

Why out starts are different: We grow all of our starts with in our own compost starting mix and NEVER use any poisons of any kind. We never use chemical fertilizer to feed- they only need compost. We do all the seeding, thinning, pruning and watering by hand. This produces a strong start that is more likely to thrive. These are superior starts in superior mix.

All our starts come wrapped in paper- ready to be dibbed in immediately. Please only order Starts if you have a bed (or other growing space) to put them in.

    Rosmarinus Officinalis Planted 2024, these plants are established and ready to go in the ground. Cover during very cold temperatures. Rosemary can live several years in our area if protected in Winter.

SUPPLIES

  • Handmade Dibbers

    We can make dibbers from various types of wood (harvested locally). Dibbers are used for planting seeds in “dibbed” holes. Large dibbers are great for transplanting and small dibbers are great for seeding. Also, a plunger end on one side of the dibber can be used to gently push starts out of their cell without damaging the roots.

  • Honey Locust Logs
